Q?How do I Redeem my Voucher??
A.

After the purchase of your Voucher, you will receive your Redemption Code, via email, which is also your Voucher number. You are no longer required to “register” your Voucher prior to “redeeming” your Voucher. Simply input your Voucher number when you are prompted to do so at the time of booking to finalize your reservation and complete the payment process. You have 12-months from the date of purchase to redeem your Voucher / book your Resort Stay before your Voucher expiration date.

Q?Where do I find the available resorts participating in this promotion?
A.

The resorts shown on our “View Resorts” link are a sample of the many resorts available to book through this offer. In addition to the resorts throughout the promotion, you may use your Resort Stay Voucher to book at THOUSANDS of resorts all over the world! Inventory is provided on an “As Available” basis and we will continually add new Resort Weeks as they become available to book.

Q?Can I book directly with the resort?
A.

No. In order to use your 7-Night Resort Stay Voucher and take advantage of these very special rates, all bookings must be completed via our online booking engine at http://travel.resortstayvouchers.com.

Q?Is there still a 60-day reservation requirement for my free Resort Stay?
A.

As a courtesy to our Voucher buyers, we have ELIMINATED the 60-day booking window. You are now free to book up to a year in advance of your Voucher expiration date without incurring an upgrade fee and at NO extra charge.

Q?I see many resorts with “Upgrade” fees, do I have to Upgrade my voucher?
A.

Some resorts have mandatory Upgrade fees. Upgrade fees vary by location and are clearly noted by each resort in the “Your Cost” column on our inventory link. Upgrade fees are due at the time you book your Resort Stay via our online booking engine. You are not required to Upgrade your $499 Voucher. However, we offer you the option to do so at many resorts that are priced beyond the cost of inventory allocated to support your $499 Resort Stay Voucher. If you prefer to book a resort that does not require an Upgrade fee you’ll need to select a resort that is noted as “FREE” in the “Your Cost” column on our inventory link, and there is ample inventory available that will be of no extra charge.

Q?If I buy the Voucher now, how late can I travel?
A.

You have 1 year from date of purchase to “redeem” (book) your travel using your Resort Stay Voucher. Make sure you check the terms of your personal Voucher, because expiration and “book by” dates vary by Daily Deal websites.

Q?If I see a resort that I like now, will it be available in the future when I want to book my travel?
A.

Unfortunately, due to the promotional nature of this offer and the nature of the booking process, there is no way for Resort Stays Marketing to guarantee availability at any of the accommodations at any given time. Keep in mind that inventory will fluctuate naturally as rooms are booked and additional rooms are made available. The best way to ensure you procure your preferred resort destination with your dates of choice is to book as soon as possible. Keep in mind that once you “book” and complete the payment process, that all reservations are considered FINAL, and therefore non-changeable and non-refundable. So please, book carefully!

Q?Are there extra fees at resorts in certain areas?
A.

At some resorts, there may be daily local energy taxes and / or city ordinance taxes that the resort has no control over. These are usually nominal though, being approximately $5.00 – $7.00 per night. Also, each resort will usually take a security deposit upon check-in, which is a standard resort and hotel industry policy. Security deposits vary by location, however they generally average $100 per resort week. As a rule of thumb (and as at any hotel or resort), as long there is no damage done to the property while you’re a registered guest, you will be refunded your security deposit at check-out. Please check the resort profiles for more details.

Q?What happens to the resort week I book while my payment is being processed?
A.

Immediately upon providing payment, your Resort Stay destination is placed on “hold” to prevent other Voucher buyers from simultaneously booking that same week. Once the payment has processed and confirmed, that Resort Stay week is instantly removed from the system to prevent double-booking. If your payment was not able to process (for example; due to a credit card being declined), you will have an opportunity to re-attempt payment after 4 hours via the “CHECK REGISTRATION STATUS” area at the bottom of the inventory search page.  If payment is not successfully processed within 24 hours of your initial attempt, that week is then taken off hold and re-released back into our Resort Catalog for other Voucher buyers to book. We recommend you check the status of your reservation anytime after the 4 hour waiting period by going to http://travel.resortstayvouchers.com/ . On the bottom of the page, click “CHECK RESERVATION STATUS” enter your Voucher number and the results will appear in the window below the submit button.

Q?Can I split up the 7 days and spend 4 nights at one resort and 3 nights at another resort?
A.

Your 7-Night Resort Stay Voucher may only be booked for seven nights consecutively. If you need to check out early, there will be no penalty for doing so, but you may not break up the seven nights between different resorts.

Q?If the room / resort I want to book says “sleeps 6,” does each person have to pay $399?
A.

No. This 7-Night Resort Stay Voucher is for a FLAT fee, not per person fee. You will only be charged the flat Voucher price of $399, as long as you do not Upgrade your Voucher AND you ensure that the number (and ages) of people in your party does not exceed the room occupancy stipulated by the resort you book (please check the “Resort Details” for occupancy restrictions BEFORE you book).

Q?Are any of your resorts all-inclusive? If so, can we pay an upgrade fee to get an all-inclusive package?
A.

All-inclusive resorts are subject to availability, however your Voucher does not include any all-inclusive fees. When booking a “mandatory” all-inclusive resort, you will pay the all-inclusive package rate upon check-in. When booking an “optional” all-inclusive resort, you may choose to accept or decline the all-inclusive option upon check-in. All-inclusive resorts are clearly identified on our inventory site (http://travel.resortstayvouchers.com) and options may be found under the “Resort Details.” Additionally, the All-Inclusive fees are fully disclosed and must be acknowledged BEFORE you complete your reservation, so that you will be fully aware of these fees BEFORE redeeming your Voucher / booking your Resort Stay. Generally, only major credit cards are accepted as valid forms of payment for the all-inclusive packages at each resort.

Q?If the room/resort occupancy indicates, “sleeps 6,” does this mean that I can book this room and bring 6 adults?
A.

Occupancy restrictions vary by resort. As a general rule of thumb, when you see occupancy listed as “sleeps 6,” you should expect that room-type to accommodate 4 adults, with an additional allowance of up to 2 children (under 12). IMPORTANT NOTE: since occupancy restrictions vary by resort, make sure to check the occupancy restrictions within the “Resort Details” (specifically under “Room Types” and “Additional Information”) BEFORE you book.

Q?Are meals and airfare included in this price?
A.

Your Voucher booking includes the cost for the reservation of the room only. Supplemental airfare, meals, excursions, transfers and car rental fees are not included.

Q?Am I required to attend a sales presentation if I buy this Voucher?
A.

No, as a Voucher buyer, you’ll get to experience the pleasure of staying in spacious resort accommodations with no obligation to attend any sales presentations, nor buy memberships of any kind. However you may be invited to attend, as any other guest would be, and many of our guests purchase exclusive vacation programs from these properties.

Q?What can we expect our room to be like?
A.

Our resorts are generally rated 3 – 5 stars and rooms are typically “condominium-style,” which is great for families, singles and couples alike! This means each unit usually has a private bedroom with a separate living area (unless the room is described as a “studio”). Most rooms have pullout sofa-beds, a dining area, and often the rooms will have full kitchens. Some of our resorts even have a washer and dryer in each unit! Please check the “Resort Details” for a full description of each resort’s amenities and unit features.

Q?Are pets allowed?
A.

Generally, our accommodations do not allow pets. If you require the use of a guide animal, please speak with our redemption department for assistance in advance of booking (redeeming).

Q?Are there blackout dates?
A.

There are no blackout dates, per se. We simply allow you to book whatever rooms are released to us whenever they become available.

Q?If I book a Resort Stay and change my mind about the room or dates, can I change my reservation?
A.

Once you’ve booked a resort, your reservation is considered FINAL and therefore non-changeable and non-refundable. So please, plan / book carefully!
